Own waiting room

At our location, we also have a space where waiting groups can stay. This space may be a bit less cozy than the Twentsche Foodhal (read below), but it is multifunctional. For example, we can ensure that there is a game console available for an internal tournament, a murder game can be organized, or a quiz. We can arrange these for you, but if every saving is welcome for your budget, you can also arrange something yourself. Almost anything is possible in consultation!

Baseball Clinic at MK Baseball

MK Baseball & Softball has its own baseball and softball training facility. In the 250 m2 space, there are 2 large batting cages and indoor turf on the ground. Both batting cages have pitching machines, pitching mounds, L-screens, and regular movable fences. The indoor training facility is the perfect place for baseball and softball training, workshops, lessons, clinics, Beeball games, birthday parties, movement analysis, training weekends, and team or company outings. Come hit, pitch, catch, field, and watch!

Climbing at Bouldergym Cube

Bouldering is a form of climbing where you follow short climbing routes (boulders) without ropes and harnesses. The thick fall mats make the sport extremely safe. The hall is spacious, with courses of all possible difficulties. From total beginner to seasoned expert, there is always a challenge to take on!
Experience is not necessary, also suitable for children.

A Polaroid Hunt at the Performance Factory

We take you on a journey through the history of the Performance Factory. At our location, you do a scavenger hunt, looking for certain places that all have a link with Polaroid. With a Polaroid camera in hand, you will go hunting for these spots.

Along the way, you will not only have to photograph as well as possible, but also engage your brain. Each photo also comes with a puzzle or task that you need to complete as best as possible.

The total duration of the Photo/puzzle tour is a maximum of 1.5 hours.

A Pub quiz at the Twentsche Foodhal

Guided by an enthusiastic Quizmaster, you will play a varied Pub quiz at the Twentsche Foodhal in teams. At the end of the quiz, there is a winning team, which of course receives a suitable reward.

The quiz consists of 4 rounds. We provide the questions and categories ourselves, in consultation it is possible to add your own questions.

The total duration of the Pub quiz is a maximum of 1.5 hours.

Whether you want to have a drink together before your visit to our Escape Rooms, or maybe want to chat together after the game while enjoying something delicious, or enjoy a nice lunch or extensive dinner.

The Twentsche Foodhal is the place to be!! This cozy and trendy Foodhal offers something for everyone. Also very suitable for younger visitors. For larger groups, dinner arrangements (also in buffet or BBQ form) are possible outside regular opening hours.

On a musical exploration

You may know PopScool from music lessons: PopScool provides the coolest lessons in all of Twente. But what not everyone knows is that you can also go there for, for example, a one-time workshop or masterclass. In combination with Room Escape Enschede and based on the wishes of your group, a custom program is possible for any group!

Very suitable for children’s parties

Miljata Bouwlab is the only LEGO building lab in Enschede. Through play, children discover technology, mechanics, programming, and especially that learning can be a lot of fun!
You can build freely with kilos of loose LEGO blocks or choose a super cool programming workshop with WeDo. Kids never get bored here.
The older kids can make stop-motion movies or program Mindstorms robots.. Cool, right!

Dancing at Rico Latino

There is also plenty to do in the immediate vicinity. For example, within a five-minute walk is the dance school Rico Latino. Here, various rooms are available, providing your group with a cozy place to be together.
At this location, various workshops can be followed, including of course various dance workshops. Think for example of salsa, Burlesque, or even pole dancing!
But workshops that have nothing to do with dance can also be offered here. A recommendation: the cocktail mixing workshop. You can still enjoy that years later 😉

Mystiek Theater

A bit further away (1400m from our location) is the creepiest and most beautiful theater in Twente. Looking for creepiness, horror, laughter, and fun? At the Mystiek Theater, you will find fully catered parties full of excitement and entertainment.

Here you can, for example, enjoy a fully catered evening show, including food and drinks. The perfect addition to an exciting escape room experience!

Special city walk

A bit further away (1800m from Room Escape Enschede) is the starting point of a popular walk through the Roombeek district. This district, which suffered greatly during the fireworks disaster in Enschede, has risen from the ashes like a phoenix and is flourishing like never before. The guide shows the special features of the district, both spatially and architecturally, and knows how to make hidden stories visible in a passionate way. Full of innovative, sometimes controversial architecture, with always that nod to Enschede’s textile past.

Outdoor paintball

The beautiful nature area Rutbeek, located just outside Enschede, is the playground of Paintball Warriors. Here they have two paintball fields, consisting of forest and specially built obstacles. There are various game forms that allow you and your team to have fun, sneak up on each other, and of course shoot at will.

Paintball Warriors even offers the opportunity for children to play. For children from 8 to 14 years old, there is special kids paintball! A tough but especially fun activity for children’s parties. Special kids’ guns are used, which shoot less hard than the ‘normal’ paintball guns. Smaller paintballs are also used, and each child always wears a mask to protect the face and eyes. The children are always supervised by an experienced instructor. This makes kids paintball completely safe.

Would you like to have a bite to eat at this unique location? That is certainly possible! From a whole pig on the spit or a complete barbecue to a more modest lunch.. No problem! Drinks can also be purchased for a fixed amount per hour.

Oude Markt: very cozy

And near Room Escape Enschede, within walking distance, is the entertainment center of Enschede: the Oude Markt. Very cozy, packed with terraces, and an abundance of drinking and dining options – not only on the Oude Markt, of course, but also in the many streets around it. Something for everyone – and we can certainly advise you!
